Disney CEO Says Studio Compromised by Hackers – Threatened to Release Latest Film

Disney CEO Bob Iger said that a group of hackers claim to have a copy of an unknown title not yet released by the studio. Iger also said that the group is threatening to release the film in 5 minute increments until the studio pays a ransom.

Iger said the studio will not pay the random and is working closely with the government to track down the threats and verify they’re credibility.

Some reports have indicated that the film that was hacked was the studios upcoming Pirates of the Caribbean. Disney has not confirmed this.
