New FASTPASS Locations and New Disney MaxPass Coming to Disneyland Resort

in 1999 when the Disneyland Resort first introduced Disney FASTPASS, I bet guests never in a million years thought they would ever have to pay for that service. That all ends today. Sort of.

Toy Story Midway Mania in Disney California Adventure park and the Matterhorn Bobsleds in Disneyland park will both be added to the Disney FASTPASS service very soon. This will make 16 attractions part of this service at the Disneyland Resort.

Later this year, Disney plans to launch the Disney MaxPass service which will allow guests “to maximize their experience by providing unlimited downloads of their high-resolution PhotoPass images and by enabling the convenience of mobile booking and redemption of Disney FASTPASS return times – all by using the Disneyland App.” Disney MaxPass will be introduced at a daily price of $10 per day. Disneyland Resort Annual Passholders will also have the opportunity to purchase Disney maxPass on a daily or yearly basis.

Guests will still be able to use the Disney FASTPASS service by getting FASTPASSES at the attraction’s FASTPASS kiosks.
