Disney Parks Blog has just released a brand new piece of concept art for the new Alien Swirling Saucers attraction opening with Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Once the aliens have powered up their flying saucers, you’ll get to climb into a toy rocket and hang on as aliens lead the way on an interstellar romp set to an out-of-this-world beat. And if you’re really lucky, you just might get “chosen” by the claw!
This new attraction coming to the east coast looks very similar to one that already exists on the west coast in Cars Land at Disney California Adventure Park. It appears this attraction will use similar technology to Maters Junkyard Jamboree. You can watch a full video of that attraction thanks to our Laughing Place friends here.

In addition, Disney has released an official statement regarding the recent rumors of a name change coming to the park:
In response to questions we have been receiving, we also want to let fans know that the Disney’s Hollywood Studios name will remain the same for the foreseeable future since we are immersing our guests in a place where imagined worlds of Hollywood unfold around them from movies and music, to television and theater.
Last week, I reported that the name would be changing to Disney’s Cinemagine Park. It now seems this is not the case. I still expect the name will change in the future, but apparently now at a much later date.
