Recipe: Celebrate Star Wars Day By Making Blue Milk at Home

© Lucasfilm

I always wanted to travel to Aunt Beru’s kitchen. The underground shelter was so awesome, filled with white shelving from head to toe. It’s here in this kitchen that the Star Wars universe is first introduced to blue milk.

This blue milk in the film is actually from a Bantha. Since we don’t have access to one of those, you can use these awesome recipes below to create your own blue milk!

Be sure to share you’re blue milk creations on Twitter using #StarWarsDay!

Ingredients:
1-1/2 cups whole milk
1 tablespoon sugar
½ teaspoon vanilla
blue food gel dye

Stir together the milk, sugar, and vanilla.

When the sugar is dissolved, stir in a drop of blue food gel dye until combined.

Keep in the refrigerator until ready to drink.

Happy Star Wars Day!
